Guy ran away from Jungleman and is essentially scamming him. Probably in heavy makeup and will likely only get staked because of his name. Was probably the most entertaining to watch other than listening to Laak and Antonio on Poker After Dark. They use to have great shows with Ivey, Hellmuth, Laak, Esfandiari, Dwan and then mix in Galfond/Brunson/Farha/Gold and it was must see poker tv.

Right before black friday, I was beating 25 & 50nl on Tilt and 50/100nl on bodog at a decent clip...probably the equivalent of 200nl on bovada now with the anonymous tables.

I was playing about 20-30 hours a week on top of a decent job. I was considering an exit plan from my job to play poker full time. My cousin (who use to post under lowlyoaftard) was playing pro live and supplementing that with online play. After black friday, the climate was too rough...we tried to keep afloat playing poker but life occurrences and the tough poker climate made us have to reevaluate. Now, I'm at a great job getting paid more than I ever would be grinding poker and he's on up the ladder at a tech company in Atlanta...and both us of are much happier. Even though i Still hate it and it's ramifications with a passion... Turned out black friday was One of the best things that ever happened to us...

High stakes cash game and Poker after dark sponsored by Full Tilt were the NUTS.

Shows like Shark tank and these gimmicky productions by Stars don't have the same feel to it. While I think Stars does a great job live streaming tournaments and they have the best tournament selection. Only problem I have with stars is their choice to up the rake way too much and drive the fish out. The SCOOP just started so i'm going to play a few tournies and then a few satties for some wsop events (god bless canada)

There were no surprises that on a recent ask me anything (AMA) thread on Poker VIP, Daniel 'Jungleman’ Cates got questioned over the status of the Durrr Challenge. What may surprise many though was the confrimation that Tom “durrr” Dwan once lost an eyewatering $20M pot in Macau.
Cates was asked what was the biggest pot he had ever witnessed—his response: “I saw Tom get set over set on a dry board vs another player for something like $20M usd total pot.”
And as for the Durrr Challenge, it looks like we all may have to wait a bit longer as Cate’s said: “Tom’s dad is sick and he is in New Jersey with him, later we will discuss how to proceed…”
