I don't think a 2 game suspension would have been upheld either. NFL tried getting a little too cute with the suspension and it backfired. They should have just fined him 25k and moved on. This whole ordeal had little to do with right/wrong or integrity of the game. Nothing but a power struggle between millionaires and billionaires. Fukk em all.

Talk about lazy and asinine, if you've never realized how insider games work at any level, public perception vs personal relationships over years. Goodell basically had to be forceful here in the wake of the Ray Rice and other NFL scandals, Kraft understood this and played along. If anyone should be upset here, its the NFLPA and the way the Feds overruled them.

In one word, yes. It happened to me, I filed a case out of desperation and never thought I could win, stuttered like an idiot explaining what happened to the judge and almost passed out when it was ruled in my favor. The company had smooth talking representation and even offered me a fake congratulation afterwards. Just because the whole world is against you doesn't mean that you're wrong.

Yeah, right. If the judge agreed with the NFL, nobody would be calling Brady a cheater, right.....? The Judge made the proper ruling. There was insufficient evidence and Goodell's NFL is out of line. Let's move on.

The ruling had nothing to do about the evidence or if Brady actually cheated. The decision was overruled solely on due process and not the guilt or innocence of Tom Brady.

Brady was involved in the deflating but the NFL bungled up how they handled it. NFL generates hundreds of millions of dollars but couldn't find competent legal counsel in how to proceed to handle the situation. A lot of incompetent fuks got rich off this case.
