i've never "supported" ACA. it's preferable to the old system of "penetrate off and die" but it's hardly the awnser to our healthcare woes - single-payer is.

the focus groups all had bernie winning. the pundits think hillary (obv cause they're corp hacks). i thought hillary came of well. she's certainly polished, well-spoken, and her personality seems to have improved. she still has major credibility issues, though, and a long record of being republican lite.
onto to my impressions of bernie. he did a great job appealing to the masses as a serious issues candidate. the issues he's talking about are gonna give him a shot to win. the one thing he needs to do is get better at selling his brand (democratic socialism). he needs to STFU about denmark and he needs to tie his brand to FDR. i've heard most of his TV appearances and stump speeches over the last few month and he's never mentioned FDR. he always says "denmark, sweden." that's a mistake. his brand is FDR's brand and he needs to make that clear to everyone. he's not trying to bring "euro socialism" -- he's trying to restore what built the greatest middle-class in the history of the world.
so he def needs to tighten up his messaging a bit. i called into hartmann and have written some op-eds saying this, so hopefully we can get the word back to him about shutting the penetrate up about denmark and start selling himself as an "FDR socialist".Comment -

Here's a simple explanation as to why the DNC would NEVER let Bernie be their pick for the presidency.....it's quite simple really:
The democratic party is being funded largely by corporations, much more than the republicans these days. It's a fact, check it out. Bernie's socialist policy's would be to governmentalize many corporations, i.e. either taking them over for the good of the country or running them within strick government control. If that was to happen, all the DNC money would dry up and that's not going to happen.
If Hillery goes down the tube after the FBI report is released in Feb, Biden would enter (if not before) to be the choice. If Biden enter's in the next few weeks, 4-6 let's say, be assured than Obama IS going to let the Justice Dept. fry her, and has told Biden better get in now. There continues to be bad blood between Hillery and Obama from way back, and I think he's still out to get her.
This is the most logical progression and although nothing is in stone, it's the most likely scenerio......Comment -
It now looks like Biden will throw his hat in the race in the next few days, basically signaling Hillery's legal troubles will be significant down the road. He called the big union bosses looking for support today, as it's being reported.
