Good times. Spoke to a few members here and there. Congradulated BigDay on his hit. I dunno how much he had on the Pats, but even a few minutes after it hit, he still had a serious ass look on his face. BWAHAHA!!! Woulda spent more time socializi g, but I was burnt out from my Dominican Republic whorehoyse marathons. All in all, good shit. I've been stuck in M for an extra day and PR. I just hit PHI and my place to NY boards in a few. I'm just Chillin' here in my SBR polo. The bash was WELL with it guys! See ya'll next year...

#107Not that I need to provide an explanation, but my guest didn't speak English. I know some Spanish & use translation apps to get by with Spanish speaking women.
If people approach me I have no problem chatting. But I'm obviously not going to ignore my guest who can't communicate with the majority of English speaking people there, just so I can approach others & strike up conversations with people who may have pre judged & not like me anyway. My vision is poor, so for me to pick & choose who I wanted to chat with looking at name tags wasn't an option unfortunately.
If there was assigned seating during SuperBowl, I would have taken my seat & chatted pregame, during commercials, & post game. But for the most part, I'm not even talking to my guest when the Big Game is on.
I have to side with triple d on this one, learning as much as we did about this poor, pathetic, scamming, conning, whoremongering fckhead makes you realize we've been beating up on a miserable piece of shit that needs serious help...... kinda like dunkin' on jerry's kids.........
wwaves, I apologize for beating up on you so mercilessly and easily..... I was bullying a person in despair with no value of life whatsoever...
I'm done...........Comment -

The jealousy from those who didn't go - or worse COULDN'T go due to either $ or felony issues - is just palpable.
You ^^^^ better get those issues sorted because the chance of another Bash happening in the US is slim to noneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Oh and no, employees didn't outnumber poster attendees. And yes every single person I chatted to not only raved about how much of a good time they were having, they were upset they couldn't stay longer whether for financial reasons or family or work ones.
If you wanted to hang out by the pool/beach all day, there was a group doing that. If you wanted to hang in the sportsbook all day, there was one doing that. One in the poker room. One in the other card games. One who frequented the clubs. Even a certain few who ventured out to visit the ladies of the town. And if you wanted to just spend time with your wife/partner/escort for the wknd then you could easily have a lovely and peaceful time cruising around the resort without running into a single one of us if you didn't want to. So if you still couldn't manage a way to have a good time after all of that then it's time to look inward.
The trip was a blast. I'm just sad that it's over. What a difference in calibre of people when a passport and a few bucks for a flight are required. Oh and Lock - Yes Boner and Blitty were there. We had a long day at the pool Saturday and then I'll let Blitty tell you about his Superbowl Sunday nightComment -

#115Oh and another thing which I found really interesting and somewhat baffling -
On my flight from Atlanta to LA, as we were getting ready to land the pilot made an announcement that there was a military escort onboard and asked we all stay seated until he got off. We were at the front of the plane so we were all asking wtf a military escort was as we hadn't seen anyone looking like a military dude or captive or whatever and we kept looking back trying to peek for a prisoner. Then as soon as the wheels touch down the plane is blasted on both sides from I'd say 14 firetruck hoses. All these guys in uniform just hammering the plane windows with water and we were like wtf is going on. I honestly thought they figured someone on the plane was contaminated with Ebola or something.
Then the pilot comes on again to say that the military escort is accompanying the remains of a dead soldier and the firemen were giving their salute. As we further approach the gate all these cop lights start flashing outside to the point where it's actually hurting your eyes in the plane because there are so many cop cars and then we saw maybe 150 soldiers on either side of the plane standing in salute. And then what's obviously this soldier's family is standing out the right side of the plane as there is a younger woman crying hysterically and an older couple looking ready to faint with a toddler standing there. And watching it from the windows it was like what in the heck is going on? We're just on a Delta plane.
Then as the plane finally stops we've all obviously turned our heads to the back and this soldier gets up in full dress uniform from I'd say the emergency exit aisle, spends quite a bit getting his beret ready and I could see one guy wayyyyyy at the back of the plane stand up as people do to get their overhead bags out and about 8 people around him looked ready to bash the shit out of him as they hissed at him to sit the fuk down. Then two soldiers get on the plane and one says something like "Sir, on behalf of Delta Airlines and the people of various nationalities onboard this plane, we as one worldwide community would like to express our deepest condolences to the fallen's family, respect for his bravery in the line of duty and empathy for your tasks on behalf of this beloved country".
Of course at this point myself and I'm pretty sure everyone else on the flight were bawling their eyes out, including the pilots who came out and did some kind of salute thing, but don't soldiers get something better than a friggen commercial flight with a bunch of tourists and whatever when they've passed away? Stealthy and I were talking about this... aren't there military planes for fallen soldiers? I always thought they got a special plane designated for this. Not some flight where people are swilling back drinks and whatnot. I don't know.
One of the pilots said he's only been involved in that twice before so maybe it's only in rare occasions or something but while it's definitely one of those moving experiences I'll never forget, it makes me wonder why this guy was stuck on this random plane and not one dedicated to him.
Anyway, the show of unity between all of those services was extremely moving. I never knew anything like that existed. Firetrucks hosing down planes, cop cars flashing their lights on the tarmac to the point that they could probably be seen 20 miles away. It was beautiful albeit a bit strange.Comment -

I'm thinking if it was good enough for one of the biggest degens of all time - Floyd Mayweather - to come for the Superbowl and then prance around Monday night in the sportsbook, then you know we were in the right place Superbowl wknd as gamblers. And ALL for free other than our flight. Randoms I was talking to there from other 'conferences', one was from some Ontario public utility corporation, honestly couldn't believe who had paid for all of us to come. And as a gambler SHE was jealous.
It's all good Iwin - Holding grudges give people wrinkles and that's the last thing I need. Plus everyone's allowed one mistake. It's all good. Do it again however and expect to be attending a funeral for your Achilles tendons xoComment -

#122For this one you just needed to pay for flights. Rooms, food and booze - all unlimited - were taken care of.
A couple of us were trying to take care of what we would've 'spent' one day by the pool - me, Stealthy, Bigday, MMAChicka, Booya - even throw in Boner and Blitty on the Saturday. It would've reached over $1k easily if we had been paying.Comment -

So do you have to be an SBR pro to attend?
What is the main purpose of the Bash?
What if someone joins SBR, becomes pro, just to get accomodations paid for on the trip but then doesn't partake in any events?Comment -

now that my wife had the "up" of thinking we were going last minute only to not see it materialize, and having her see the hard rock and all that the D. R. had to offer (she was already bookin' a whale watchin tour and a few other things to do), she is gung ho for the next bash (she had shit canned this one at first blush b/c 1. she was pissed at me the day i brought it up and 2. it came out during the ebola scare -- and she's always been a germophobe , and 3. she's scared of world-wide jihad).
safe to say we'll be one of the first to sign up and confirm next go round............
glad everyone had a good time and a safe return home!!!!Comment -

I was was stuck in the secondary search custom line in ATL behind IWIN & his wife. I have a very common name so expect this everytime I (we) travel abroad. If you do have any skeletons in the closet I'd suggest taking care of all that before traveling. It's amazing the Intel the US Govt. has on everyone these days. Just a quick search of my social security number and off I went.Comment -
