I agree , find myself enjoying the crowds reaction to goals rather then the game itself.while there have been some good games many are overly boring, and all those dives the players take like they've just been shot from the stands, seems fooling the ref is part of the game.

Give me Northwestern vs Rutgers on any given Saturday in the Fall.much more enjoymentfor me personally.

Football blows. I am a football fan but the NFL is filled with disgusting characters these days committing crimes and doing drugs. So many commercials and stoppages. Plus my team sucks and I can't bet on it that good.

I dont neccesarily care what these guys do off the field but i agree NFL is overrated. I mean i watch it and bet it but i dont jerk off to it like so many in America.

you know why soccer is the best sport in the world? because it is intriguing and enjoyable to watch for billions of people, even when its a low scoring game

only exciting thing about american sports is the scoring, these sports are so boring that if there is no scoring for 5 seconds people watching start lapsing into commas. I guess thats why there are so many commercials in american sports, its entertainment, so that people dont realize what a shit sport they are watching

I've always thought that soccer would be much more interesting if they got rid of the off sides rule. Who gives a shit if a guy lines up, cherry picking at the other goal. That means you have 1 more guy on their goal. It would open up scoring a bit and you won't have all the controversies. Get rid of off sides and I'd enjoy soccer much more.

Every 4 years we're told the age of soccer is dawning in the US. And the news shows fans in US cities going bonkers for Team USA.

But when the last week of August rolls around we're watching football and won't see another soccer game until 2018.

We've had a long look at both sports and don't choose soccer. Deal with it.
