Is It Your Dream To Become A Pro Gambler?

I have no desire to be a Professional Gambler. Doesn't interest me in the slightest bit. My business keeps me on my toes and that is enough for me!

Even then though, there's still no chicks in it. Being a pro gambler is the one thing, more than any other, where you can reach the top of your game, and still get no chicks from it. Even the head elite honcho dungeon master at D&D conventions still gets the one or two hot chicks around that are into D&D. A pro gambler gets no chicks for it. Chicks aren't even impressed. Some gamblers have girlfriends or wives of course, but those are women they met in other ways, women they could have gotten even if they just had any old crappy job or life's work.

I always tell people who act impressed it ain't all it's cracked up to be. However, not too many things are.

I think girls are uncomfortable with the notion even though they act impressed. As in "wow, that's amazing, but I don't think I want to have anything to do with it". That's too bad because most of your pros are more financially secure and stable than your other shmoes. But you know, chicks are dumb. They hear too much hype.

That's especially true in Vegas, reno. A lot of girls are wary of the "gambler." So many locals blow their paychecks in a casino as soon as they get them...

Yeah, guess they've been exposed to the negative side of gambling. Try to explain the distinction between one who gambles regularly(as in a lot), vs gambling with an edge.

Heh. My parents still don't understand that distinction let alone some girl I've just met. Although, half of the girls here are degens themselves. There are girls who work as poker dealers or sportsbook writers who do understand the difference. I usually just say I play poker. If I get a cold reaction, she probably isn't worth my time.

Wouldn't you have to learn to read and write first? I mean farmers have to be able to read the labels on chemicals, fertilizers, seed bags, etc. I think you have a long way to go to be qualified to dig in dirt.

All we know about Nicky is that he is a punk and is feisty. We don't know if he is all bark and no bite and has the same physique as Sammy.

I think Sammy is underestimating himself. He should have some good core strength from the wrestling and have some skills from wrestling. Also, practicing wrestling is one of the most strenuous exercising and he should be good on the fatigue factor. He should have the edge if this thing were to go to the ground and most unskilled fights end up on the ground. Lanky kids are the best fighters.

Well, the only way to find out is if we went to the bash this year, but since I can't go, it's only speculation.

gamblers will never be accepted in society. when i tell anyone at a family get together that i am a pro gambler, they all look at me like i am a criminal or just a sick degenerate. gamblers are known as losers and bad people. we are known as people you look down at. but if the guy next to me says he's a stock player, now 34 people are around him idolizing him and asking him for tips. meanwhile, gambling and playing stocks is same shit, except my odds are 34345x better that i will make money gambling than stocks.. all stock players are losers.. and meanwhile, they are the exact same thing, with a diff name. both are gambling.. but just dont say you are a gambler and make sure you say stock player or people will look down at you.

If you are betting with a positive expectation then you are not gambling, you are investing. So, tell people you are an investor.

Stock Traders are accepted probably more than any other type of gambler even though it is just as much high risk as any other form of gambling.

Every time I tell someone outside of the home that I am into gambling, I am auto tagged as a bookie.

i swear it's like you've read one of my past posts here many months ago..i''ve said it many times.. it's been 4 yrs now when people ask me, hey nicky, what line of work are you in? i always now say, i am a sports investor.. i no longer get the looks like before.. they say, what is that. and i say, just like you buy companys in stocks and you invest in them, i invest in sports teams who i think are going to do good this year based on my stats, and they are impressed now and dont even ask questions anymore.. they just nod their head

so now, i am a sports investor and i am proud to be one and i am accepted in society.

investing in stocks is so much better then sports betting.
like right now. if i had a couple extra grand to throw into stocks i would throw it into the oil
my parents just threw a wack load into it because its so low right now soon enough its going to bounce
and gambling you live your life in the edge. 50/50 chance.
i dont know who would wanna live that. i would rather go to university get a high paying job
like im doing and have a steady income.

Sports betting is far easier to beat than the equity, commodity and currency markets due to these markets being much, much more efficient than sports betting, as they should be with the trillions traded in those markets each day.
