I talked to Ronald Moore who told me that Kenny is not looking good to play tonight.

he's having a problem walking on the calf and in a lot of pain.

over 72 first half. two meetings they have shot 142 times and 128 times, thats not including FT attempts. If they average 70 attempts a half then they need to shoot around 40 percent to hit the over 72 for the first half. 2nd half might get tight since this a championship game but I expect the first half to be run and gun.

SIE is one of the more solid teams in the MAAC with a great home record, I can't argue that.

NIA may be tired, but SIE is without (G) K Hasbrouck who for instance, played 24 minutes in SIE's last at home victory over NIA (before they went to NIA and lost by 25. Thats, twenty-five).

                  This will be very interesting

I received this e-mail of a free pick this morning.

The Saints defeated Niagara 82-65 at home earlier this season and will have home court on their side again in the MAAC title game tonight. Niagara defeated Siena in the last meeting at Niagara 100-85 and all that loss does is fuel Siena's fire here. Siena is a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS at home against Niagara the last 3 seasons and 15-5 ATS in the last 20 lined games in this matchup. Siena returns all 5 starters from a team a team which crushed Vandy in the Big Dance a season ago and it believes it can make a deeper run in '09. Anything less than a win here will be considered a major disappointment for the Saints. We'll lay this small number.

My personal advice, fade the public here. Feels like another trap after the Troy loss last night....

Hasbrouck Senior, 30+ minutes, 15 pts game, no bench? Not playing?Unless Sam there is something you know that we don't, even the Monkey knows this is a no play!

I'm thinking less points for Siena, tired shooting team in Niagara, under 153.5 or no defense by teams? Anyone have opinions on totals? Good luck again Sam!

no bench?? Yes, they don't use it as much, but they have one if they need to. Yes, I know something that others don't. I know the team. Some of them personally.

Clarance Jackson played 29 minutes yesterday in the absence of Hasbrouck. Averaging 8.4 a game, he game through w/ 16 yesterday. Expect him to get double digits shooting the 3 ball tonight.

Also expect freshamn Downy to play more tonight. He averages a little more than 3 per game, but if he's shooting well, he can easily knock down 3+ 3 pointers.

Kenny not playing is huge, but role playters will step up.

Watch out for sleeper ROSSITER. He averages 10 a game, and he's been playing very well last 2 games. 12 and 8 yesterday, I see a double double out of him tonight or close to it.

Siena wins tonight Monkey. bet them

I like the over, although Hasbrouck's injury is making me think no-play with a number that high. As a general rule, people tend to assume that tired means no offense. However, i think that, more often that not, defense is affected more. When i play and i'm tired, i know that defense goes first [and, i know, we're talking about the highest level of amateur athletes, not a rec game, but i submit that same principles still apply]. I think that this is high-scoring 1H, then both teams bear down and play more defense in 2H.
