Kings are streaky, but they have talent and they are learning to win. The quicker they get rid of Gay the sooner off they will be able to win (see Raptors). When I knew he was out of the game I let the line adjust for that and at +5.5 I felt it was a steal. I got burnt a couple of times in the last few days betting ML dogs when they would have won with the points (see Suns yesterday), so I decided not to be greedy and took the points. Add to that New Orleans being streaky themselves and the youth of both teams and this was a Pck 'em at the very worst in my mind.

Fair enough. I appreciate you insight. Whats your take on the Cav's game tomorrow? Personally I think -6.5 shouldn't be too hard for them at this point. Yes, they have been struggling, but I think, especially after their last game, that they are primed and ready to go.

I had a bunch on Grizzlies over Lakers too. Grizzlies have been so awful on the road though, winning 3 of their 4 road wins by 2 or less points, and losing their last 2 on the road. Hopefully they destroy them tonight.

So Winnipeg scores early in the first and now Florida scores in the first 38 seconds of their game....

I actually feel bad for Buffalo....this team is way worse than they should be. This season they are 6-2-1 when they score first and an unreal 0-11-1 when they are scored upon first. I took this game because they are playing much better and the Jets are on B2B's and getting +143 on home ice against an average Winnipeg squad....that's fantastic value. Unfortunately with the first goal the Jets will probably win this....as soon as they scored Buffalo got all out of sorts and I doubt that changes.

In better news the Isles are up 2-1 in the first. In that game I am on the Isles and the over.

Look for Brooklyn to slow down in their game versus Philly....I know they are way up right now, but this game will get closer at some point. Brooklyn are weak mentally and they will put it on cruise control too early.

Buffalo is a crappy team which makes a lucky upset every now and then. Current winning streak is misleading in my opinion as they've beaten Leafs which were struggling mightily at that time and somehow Capitals and Sharks are not doing well against Sabres in in the last year or two. Neither of these two teams is consistent at the moment either so there came two more victories. While it might seem like value in these odds on Sabres I think you can make more money betting against them from now on rather than looking for upset. Now when I wrote that watch them tie up and beat Jets

There re were so many turnovers in the first half, add in a crap shooting percentage (40% for Memphis) and poor outside shooting and thus game should explode in the second half. I wouldn't bet it now as it is at 200 but if they come out a little slow that will drop. If they come out hot, save your money for tomorrow.

Also, the Chicago game stayed under as Chicago scored on the third and won it 3-2. An empty netter would have been handy there. Colorado was in it and at +money like that at home, I would make that bet every time.

On another note....I lost the Nets game because of a foul with 2 seconds left....a foul that Hollis Thompson should never have taken, down 6 points with two seconds? Everyone esle just lets the game wind down....but no. Of course Deron makes both and I lose that by a half point.

Then I lose my Sacramento over by two points....ok, not as tough, but the game looked over the whole way and then they ground out a loss for me.

THEN....with 7 seconds left and the game not in contention Goran Dragic makes a layup....the shot clock was NOT EVEN ON. Every other team just dribbles it out there....but for some reason Dragic is taking hail mary passes and making shots? I am confused and that made ANOTHER HALF POINT LOSS.

I know it happens....but come on....two of those three games should have been wins.

Colorado is far from being the awesome Colorado from last year. They are back to their standards which means not being a playoff contender team. Their latest winning record is deceiving as they barely won vs Coyotes and Hurricanes after pulling two mirracle comebacks plus they played yesterday so that wasn't a good spot vs rested Blackhawks who are also a divisional rival. They also have some problems with injuries which takes away depth. But most important is no Varlamov who was saving them through out the year in previous season.
