About the starting goalies, some team have very good 2nd goalie that are very VERY underated. Best example would be Budaj. He's 4-1 this year GA 1.83/ % 0.942. Yet, it will have a negative impact on the line. How sweet is that? Find good second goalie = find value!

Honestly, the biggest reason is this.....EGO. Two young teams, both loaded with natural shooters....plus it is a holiday in the US and there will be an added air of celebration in the air. These guys are going to go and get it tonight.

unreal day...best I have seen in a long time.

D2D informed me that $50 = 1 unit. I did not know this, and so I converted the first two days to reflect his unit parameters. If you look at the units and compare to the money amounts, it may confuse you at first. With a $50 unit size, $75 is not 1.25, it is 1.5. $55 = 1.1 and so on.

Thanks guys, hope some people got in on the action. 12-1 nights on the heels of 5-1 nights are not exactly the norm. Last year I had a 58-8 run over 5 days that we the heater of all heaters.....all posted on here, all well before game times and all documented.

I think the biggest thing in sports betting are minimizing the losses....when things are rough, pull back a bit, protect your money.

Tonight was especially nice because there were a few + odds out there that we played, and aside from Chicago no real favourites on the ML.

I will try and post some games early tomorrow, but....for those of you that don't know me, please don't think that this is the norm and go all in tomorrow. I am probably the highest volume sports bettor that I have ever seen, but you should never put out more than 20% total in any one day when betting high volume (and way less if you bet low volume). You will find out shortly that there are a lot of skeptics of the way I bet.....even after 1500 plays last year they were still telling me that high volume is the surest way to lose....

I tell those guys, that high volume is the only way to come close to beating variance.

I would guess that it's because the backup Talbot has a 96.1% save percentage over his last 4 games. Rangers have been trending up and the Canucks have been trending down.

I'm liking the picks today...only one that concerns me is Chicago. The Hawks are 5-1 on their road trip, and after an 11-round shootout last night, i gotta think they take their foot off the gas a little against a Phoenix team who is pretty solid at home.

Rangers are 12-1 when scoring first. I like that trend to continue with the Blueshirts up 2-0 after one.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I would have made this a 2 unit bet normally, but I avoid betting the Canucks because I tend to overanalyze them. There is only one reason that I made this bet....VALUE. The Rangers are as good a team as Vancouver, it is in NY AND they were a + $$$. It is simple, they win here more than 50% of the time. This is mathematics, not guesswork. As I said yesterday, take advantage of backup goalies and the odds they can get you.
