as described in a preceding post, i play almost all your picks..miss some if the game already started or the line had moved too far...but all to win exactly 1unit...

because of that, our results always vary, from a little to a lot...all depending on the distribution of wins and losses over your varied-weight plays...

it DID look bleak there for quite a while...then it seems like a half-dozen games all had nice nick-of-time "good shit" happen...most notably the DR 9th inning, Pittsburg's two VERY-late goals to turn OT into a puckline victory, and St. Louis also pouring it on for us...

cuz I don't vary the units...the "roller coaster ride" I experience..on my bankroll's $-swings AND on my blood-rpessure is made "less exciting" (for me that's a good thing...as i find sport-investing--even with good-performing-picks such as yours {and Nino's)--already provides more excitement than i'd like)

anyhow, i'm sure we had more than enough late swing-game turnarounds to put you into positive territory as well

Thanks for another good day's supply of hi-value sports-investment "bullets". Whether played with the weight-variation you recommend...or all treated as one uniform "caliber" like I do...they're solid.

I'm happy with my subscription thus far..and will surely renew for all the sports packages you offer...just as long as you don't increase your prices!

that's the trouble with a sport where numbers-betting (on the spread or totals)...rather than ML..is the norm...throw in relatively-underpaid officials to "choreograph" the attainment of (or failure to attain) the total or spread number the books want

Football is just as bad in this regard...even without the spectre of corruption...you just can't count on teams "effort" relative to a "number" that has no bearing on the game's outcome.

Related to this...One of the guys i respect a lot around here (HigherElement)...focuses almost exclusively on ML-betting of NHL and MLB...which get you thru the entire calendar year...without the bullshit orchestrated "endings".

I think the rough thing with tonight was that the teams combines for 11 of their last 13.....when does that happen? And then to lose by a half point is just....well tough. I tuned in occassionally, but it was hard to watch every leaning bank-shot hit the bottom of the net on its way through........

Again I won more games than I lost, but I lost more $$$.......that game would have put me $400+ in the black and that loss put me down $100 or so.

The easiest thing for a ref to do is steer a game into an "over"...a few extra whistles and another kid's college education is taken care of...

These last two extremely-fishy cases of a game clearly heading under being steered over were coincidentally the last two Portland home games...

I'm heavily leaning toward focusing on moneyline-betting NHL/MLB and avoiding betting "numbers" like the plague..just too much $ on inconsequential (result-wise) late-game shit that "happens" FAR too regularly.

While I definitely understand thinking that was I really don't think the refs had anything to do with either of those games......the Memphis game was ridiculous, but every foul was taken on purpose and called properly. I didn't see all of the end of tonight's game, but I will say that what I saw was every bucket going in. Unless the refs have a little button they push to make the hoop grow.....I just cannot question them in these two games (though I wish I could).

Now....yesterday's Washington/WSU game.....THAT was bs and makes me wonder....but more about the winning team than the reffing.....

D2D, I'm still happy with my subscription...

it's the fukking NBA's ability/commitment to produce a fair product that I'm losing confidence in...
in the college game you never get that feeling that it's being "orchestrated" or "worked" as it often seems like in the NBA. The kids play their hearts out...controversies generally have more to do with questionable coaching/officiating.

parlay payouts are easily calculated by simply multiplying out the decimal format odds...

so as long as you can smoothly toggle between American and Decimal it's a snap...

trick is to do all the calculations in decimal...converting A-->D at the beginning...then D-->A at the end, as necesary

to add another leg to a parlay... just treat the existing bet as the first leg of a new 2-leg parlay...fold in the new leg (by multiplying the decimal-format odds) and you're done

existing parlay odds (decimal-format) = (712.50/50) +1 = 14.25 (aka. +1325, but that format is useless here)

new-leg odds (decimal-format) = (100/1350) + 1 = 1.074074

folding in the new play is as easy as multiplying out the decimal-format odds...

so, new parlay odds are = 14.25 * 1.074074 = 15.31 (aka +1431 in the form you prefer)
