They very well could. Khudobin has been playing well of late and the Canes beat a reeling Pens team. However, prior to that he's faced the Bluejackets twice, Panthers, Islanders, Blackhawks, and Oilers. 3-4 his last seven starts and he's not exactly playing world beaters. Plus, I don't put much weight into % numbers that nobody outside of the books would have or could possibly estimate accurately.

The Wild basically locked up a playoff spot tonight. They would need to lose out and Phoenix would need to win out. The problem is that Phoenix prob loses to the Blue Jackets tomorrow night. Wild have a tough next 2 here against the B's and the Blues. Chalk them both up as losses. If need be, a must win against the Predators at home isn't that scary. These next two games for the Wild will prob be boring, play it safe games. Neither team is looking for injuries going into the playoffs.

Wild played a rough game in Winnipeg last night and barely got away with a win. I agree Bruins are the play there tonight and a good one with the lines currently.

As a Wild fan though I hope it goes to a OT so they can clinch tonight!

Wild look like they want to keep momentum.

Team gave it the all. Wild are serious contenders at a bottom seed this year. Goaltending is the question mark imo.

Ummmm you obviously didn't see when Lebron had cramps. He couldn't even walk, had to be carried off the court. Guy is a warrior. Some of those guys fall pretty hard when flopping too.

go figure: the difference between "defensive foul/offensive foul/no call/defensive faking/offensive faking" is SO clear-cut...it's a shame officiating incompetence is ruining our beloved game...

so...we gotta video tape the referees when they're reviewing the game on video-tape...have their decision vetted by another group of arbiters...the entire floor-level seating will be equipped with video-editing equipment and headsets

only during the "last two minutes" of course...will have to sacrifice just a smidge of the "flow" built up to that point...
