I know I usually post offensive players, but this is an important update below for totals players.

Free safety Eugene Wilson, arguably the New England Patriots' top coverage defender in their interior secondary, will not play in Sunday afternoon's game against the Indianapolis Colts because of a sprained ankle.

I would think this is more important for Pats backers as opposed to totals backers...

    This is interesting...

This will keep it a 2 TD game instead of 3 TD for those who like to bet the adjusted spreads.

Boy you guys are really grasping at straws. Wilson has been irrelevent for 3 years now. In 2005 he sucked without Harrison in the secondary. In 2006 he was playing poorly prior to going on IR. And thus far this year he has been pulled several times in favor of Randall Gay and James Sanders. Rashad Baker has gained some playing experience this year as well, after getting picked on in the AFCCG.

Safety is arguably the deepest position the Pats have this year.

Just so folks don't make any last-second bets based on this, Wilson has not figured prominently so far this year.
