The only way Chicago can win this thing, is if the defense wins it. They can do it, but I just thing LT will break one loose or something and Chicago can't play from behind.

Absolutely ridiculous. A Tim Donaghy type call. Seriously, that was game-altering and was blatant. I'm thoroughly convinced that something is wrong with every major sport and its officials. He took the damn snap out of the center's hands. It was a great jump , but a lot of jumps look great when they happen before the snap.

It was over after that SD fumble recovery on that punt.

Chicago's defense is may be the best in the league, but how many times to they have to force a punt? Then only to have to go right back out on the field after a fumble? Chicago's D takes a back seat to nobody, but they are indeed human.

Hard to disagree. Norv doesn't have this team up to speed. Expect SD to get outcoached big time next week. I wonder what kind of emotional energy will be running after last year's SD meltdown against NE.

My initial feeling is that's the kind of game decision I don't want to make until deep in the playoffs. Though there have been a couple games I didn't initially like that I ended up wagering on so just ignore me.

Man, I'm not sure about that bet. I think it will be a close game. SD came out in the second half and started to move the ball. Same thing we saw happen with the Colts. I don't think NE's defense is as good as Chicago. The two reasons I think that NE has the edge is, one they are coming off a brutal physical game with the bears and two they have to travel. I don't think NE's run defense is as solid as Chicago. It will definitely be a fun game to watch. I might stay away and sit back and enjoy.

I'd imagine it will be tight and could only take SD plus the points but I do have to question the comment about today being anything remotely similar to the Colts 31-0 2nd half massacre against NO.

I came away very impressed with the Bears D. What a difference Mike Brown and Harris make.

if Chi didn't have so many turnovers and special teams screw-ups they might have won or at least covered, norv turner is a kiss of death, being a skins fan, i had to endure his crap for to many years, people talk about him being an offensive guru, wait till he gets to see the Pats D.
