I remember when people of jj's ilk would say a black manager could never win in MLB or NFL - or that there could never be a great black golfer - or a great black hockey player. It hadn't happened yet and it must be because of the skin color. Black skin meant you couldn't think clearly enough to manage right, or play a finesse shot in golf, or backstop a Stanley Cup champion.

The racists would make elaborate arguments about the black temperament. But they kept losing all these theories they were so sure about as time and opportunity proved them just completely wrong.

But they do like to cling to this idea that black quarterbacks can't win in the NFL (despite the cases that have been mentioned). And I'm sure at some future time there will be the equivalent of Tiger Woods and Grant Fuhr QB'ing a bunch of Super Bowl champions and the racists will have to crawl under rocks and find something else.

Whites make better QB's while blacks are better RB's and DE's..

Would it be racist to say white people don't make good Running backs or Defensive Backs?

Everyone knows the answer to this question...

Of course there are a few exceptions but in the whole scheme of things whites make bad running backs and defensive backs and Blacks don't make good QB's..

McNabb certainly came close to being the first black QB to win it all. His chances aren't bad to actually do it if he and the Eagles are healthy for a full year.
