Got the Bucs at 8-1 to win division. I know talking about money is sort of inappropriate but it is relevant here. It is to win about $2,100.

Not sure how much faith in them winning @CAR especially after that embarrassing performance last week. I could see just about any outcome. This is the NFL where things change week to week. I know the Colts a few years ago just needed to beat Jacksonville the last week of the season to win their division and the Jags had worst record in the league. Colts loss. I don't believe it matters CAR has been awful. It is who is motivated more in a lot of these games.

Options are to take CAR +4.5 and go for a middle with my Bucs division wager. Also CAR moneyline at +185.

Then there question is how much to wager. I am thinking about wagering either a CAR +4.5 or moneyline for about a $900 win. If Bucs win I take about $1,100 if I take the CAR +4.5 or $1,600 if I take the CAR moneyline.

A little bit of early steam on CAR. If I do take the line should I wait for a better #?

hold up i can get you a winner using my ATS charts

ok TB is down at negative 12.5 ats s/u fav loss Panthers ate bagel 26-0 - 22.5 ats

i would side with TB better QB panthers do not want to win i think they just fired all coaches too

teams in this mindset play carefully do not get hurt and get back on the bus

I a considering not hedging at all. I would just hate to walk away with nothing.

When they played in Tampa, they only lost by 2.

With that in mind, I'd hedge with the minimum amount you need to not hate it on Car +4.5, and root for both to pay.

I am in total agreement. Unless you have that sports almanac from Back to the Future.

That's the benefit of betting futures or a parlay where the last leg is at a later time. Being able to hedge. How nice is it going into a game knowing you are going to win no matter what? Sports betting is a long term thing for most bettors, so take a profit whenever you can.

I had a similar situation once and I thought it was a sure thing so I never bother hedging. Sure enough the dog not only covered the game, but won outright. I don't remember the exact details because I put it out of my mind. All I know is I wouldn't make that mistake again.

I'd probably just bet $200-300 on Carolina ML so you profit either way but much more so if TB wins.

Don't play very much. Here and there only if I like the wager a lot. Average play $300

If you tied up roughly $250 for a whole season, it doesn't make sense to hedge now. Let it ride unless your current finances dictate a need to guarantee a win.
