The books must've gotten hammered on that Under 38. I played that one even though generally speaking I don't get involved with unders below 40. This one made too much sense though because both teams defenses are pretty solid statistically and their offenses rank among the worst in the league.

Actually 9-1? You only counted the 5-1 Sunday, but I won last Thursday (Colts) and then Monday (Over)

Good info, Horse. Ya, PPG is down about 3pts from last year.

This is CONTRARY to the normal trend of pts going up. My opinion is that it's tied to:
*the monsoon that generated a weird final in Chi/SF game.
*Some of the wind/rain games in the Northeast (via the Hurricane effect).

And some QB play has been terrible. If had to win a Bar Bet...I would take:
*more Overs than Unders in remaining 15 NFL games this week.

Don't have any numbers but just based on observation it seems like they're not calling as many ticky tack PI penalties this year.

That's very good information. Thanks. I'll check vs the site:

*I know that Rush TDs were down in the first three weeks but they rebounded to 2021 levels.

I will look more at the Pass Interference calls. That has to be the missing link.

BTW, my prediction of Overs appears to be wrong. More Unders this week. Will see where they set next week's lines.

I do know that last year the dogs and unders dominated for the first nine or ten weeks then there was a liitle bit of regression. I'm thinking maybe now with legalized gambling there's so much more new money in the pools, most of it square money which invariably goes to the chalk and overs.

I don't cap Totals. Would think it's very challenging, a lot to dissect.
