Nothing new here.
I did some research on the founding fathers of the NFL a few years back.
Some of the most unsavory characters that lived 100 years ago.
Daddy Mara (Giants) was a bookmaker.
Papa Bear Halas, one of his right hand men was Al Capone's lawyer (lotta good he did Al since the feds got him on tax charges) and a shady horse race stable owner.

His name?
Charles Bidwell.
Do some research on the Bidwell family if you don't believe me.

Listen, I wrote a big piece on all of this a year or so ago, no time to rehash this all again.
The history of the shadiness that is the NFL is a mile long.
Games have been fixed since the first game ever kicked off.

Nothing new here.

From now on please let me know who the NFL is going to let win at least a couple hours before kick off. I Thank you in advance!! Only reason I want to know is so I'm not surprised or disappointed for cheering on the loser!!

I hate the Cowboys and was cheering for the Chargers. Either team could have won. Chargers hit the upright with a FG last play of the 1H, Cowboys hit a 56 yard FG last seconds of the 2H. Dallas made bigger plays.

But if it is about entertainment take dogs. Close games is what you assume they want
Look at small road dogs of 1-6 points
Look at dogs in primetime

Yes.
The dogs are covering more often than not.
Reason being the scoring has increased drastically.

NFL wants the back and forth for the entertainment factor. Correct Dogs are covering largely now because your bettors are generally on the favor the public. We all know that the officials could call holding on most every offensive play if they want. Just like the Chargers game - I think 12 offensive flags, very questionable. The commentators Tony and Jim both said they didn’t see how a flag could be called on the either TD.

With live betting it seems to have only gotten worse, you’d be stupid NOT to try and rig some of these games and make a sh!t ton of money doing so EVERY WEEK
