    romeo crennel should be fired....
Texans score a TD with 1:50 on clock to go up 7. Instead of kicking the extra point to go up 8 they go for 2 and fail. Titans score a TD and kick the extra to send the game in to OT. You go up 8 you force the Titans to get a TD and 2 point to force OT. How hard is to comprehend these scenarios?

We just had a thread on this last week. I disagree, go for 2 to end the game.

Yes, converting the 2 is tougher, but you execute one play you end the game by going up 9.

Exactly, both times going for 2 was the wrong decision (both times the team lost). So this scenario is 0-2.

Yea... wow. Crennel is old too. His cognitive abilities are likely gone.

What was the other game someone went for 2 and later lost?

I've only seen 2 teams try it before today. Carroll against NE (failed, but tbey won they won the game) and SD against Baltimore in the playoffs (converted, won game).

I think he’s meaning the similar scenario where zimmer went for it on 4th vs Seattle instead of kicking fg

0-2 this year where a team opts to not go up 8. Minny with a FG and Houston with an extra point.
