Should I reach out to my bookie and see if he will cancel the bet?

I can afford to lose it, but I'm nervous because I don't usually wager this much on single games.

I never go all in on football due to the injury risk of the QB. QB injuries can change games. Therefore, even if you feel great about a position, you can't cap the possibility of an in game injury.

If you can afford to lose it, then keep the play. Welching on bets with locals will get you in trouble quick.

save your money for tennessee -3 vs georgia next saturday or L-ville +2 vs clemson. the game tomorrow is a coin flip and could go either way -- two teams who consider defense to be optional.

were you drunk when you placed the wager?

i wouldn't bet an amount that would cause a resentment over losing. a week's pay is easily enough for a large wager in my opinion.

The lines +3 so yea it's a bad bet when u consider value and +2.5 only usually comes into play if there's a missed extra point or the game turns into a field goal battle. I would of bought a point to +3.5 so if the games tied late u won't lose on a saints game winning field goal.

you have to think about the fact that the saints have only lost their last 2 games by a combined 4 pts.. personally, that tells me that the saints are playing good but just barely being on the wrong side of the clock. its tough to say cause saints and drew desperately need this win to dodge 0-3, and they're in the dome too.. it could be a sweaty shootout

The most important thing about placing a large (10x unit or so) bet isn`t only the potential $ lost, it is if you do win, do you have the discipline to put on the brakes and not give it all back.

If we can only make 1.5% on our money now in banks, why shouldn`t we be happy making 8-10% a year tax free on our wagers?
