Prob goin other side here and I'm really likin Pepperdine

pepperdine game incredibly interesting, i hate that they a west coast team starting early on the east against a team from the east. that my biggest hangup but there certainly some things to like. Duq depends a ton on treys and i never like that when you talking early start tourney games at unfamiliar surroundings. waves have also defended the 3 really well thus far, trying to decide how well when they had some high school team (lol) shoot 0-19 is tough to do. ucla shot about there avg but they did hold fresno way under what they avg on the season from behind the arc. they also been playing tougher teams, more importantly on the road. dukes 3 point reliant and turnover prone, that certainly not something id back away from home.. gl buck

100% with you guys on Pepper, I just don't know how i want to play it. I like that Pepper has been on the road and tested by 2 quality opponents, while the dukes are stepping away for the first time.

Pepper just has zero bench, not that the dukes have much of one either, but the waves literally zero depth. This is my struggle: I can't figure out the pace of the game.

I'll tail you guys on pepper if you pull the trigger, because I was thinking about waiting until half and taking a wait and see approach simply because I can't get a read on the pace of game...

i grabbed waves-2 cause looks like it might go higher. agree about their lack of depth but dukes dont really play the kind of game to take adv as they dont go inside or get to the charity stripe much. i dont think their pace alone be enough to simply wear pepperdine out.

Dont buy much into line movement in ncaabb, especially this early in the season.. Years ago I used to let it talk me off so many winners, but now I just stick to my guns.

W/ that being said its always nice to have a movement in your favor, but should deter you
