The last non-major team to win the championship was UNLV way back in the Larry Johnson days, and that team had already proven itself vs. major competition, which is something San Diego State has not done yet.

3. Try buying tickets for Thursday and see what you come up with. They're going for $300+ and I guarantee you the gym will be >60% SDSU fans.
