BOT's Early Thoughts on KU/Memphis

I don't think it's a non-factor. It's all based on game plan. Against UNC ... low post play was HUGE. I think in general, we should say the PAINT area is what is the big factor, not just low post play because Rose, CDR and KU's guards in the lane are just as big a factor.

kansas cant run against memphis.....outmatched here.
Memphis will get better of run game but you can be sure that kansas will try to slow the game.
NBA style ball>college ball=memphis total control

if roy williams calls 1 timeout when they are down 8 or 10, the game is different
i am suprised nobody blames him for that huge run
he cost them the game

Roy Williams is a fukhead. I've been saying that for years, good recruiter, good motivator yes. In Game coaching he's no fukkin good.

Memphis has the better coach.

Bah, its okay to gloat, I would be euphorious if a certain 3 pointer doesnt sink...

Still hit the under and 2nd half over, so not totally a loss.

Risk reward ratio was huge.

BOT...I'm looking forward to the entire season next year..we'll get it from the get go....crazy to think it took all the way to the end here to have FT shooting bite them in the ass and needed just one stop on that 3....

Memp blew what I thought for sure was game over . I was just trying to figure out why Memp didn't foul instead of letting them hit the 3 .
Why let them shoot the 3 ? Who in their right mind would let me take the game tying shot ? I could never dream of calling plays like that , gotta foul there . Falls on the coach . We see it all the time in the nba .

Rose did try to foul but it didn't get called

Thats the difference that three made. Pretty much capped this game right throughout. Didnt account for a miracle comeback... and you never can. Thus why we play the game.

i have lost bullshit before, hoffman allows 4 hrs to lad back to back to back to back, or the cowboys blow a 13 pt home lead in 5 mins, but this is worse
