    Saturday looks like easy money
I have been lining up my Saturday and I just can't ignore a teaser that looks so good I want to go all-in on it (but won't).

    UNC -.5 / Xavier +11

    UNC's ATS Records are mind-boggling:
-11-0 versus good defensive teams allowing <=64 points/game
    -20-6 versus teams w/ a winning record
    -3-0 in the NCAA tourney
    -14-1 in non-conf games
    -22-10 overall

It's ridiculous. I have the game lined at UNC -5, Sagarin has it at UNC -6, Statfox at -7, but with UNC's ATS record and what they have done the last two games (and being in Charlotte) I think those are conservative lines. Simply put, I AM TRYING TO FIND A REASON NOT TO TAKE UNC AND I CAN'T. The Heels are on a different plane right now and this game is practically a home game.

As for Xavier, they have a huge advantage ATS over UCLA. When UCLA wins SU, it has almost ALWAYS been by less than 10 pts. Now they are facing a hot Xavier team who is miles better than WKU was.

I like this: after one or less day's rest Xavier is 3-1 ATS while UCLA is 4-6. In non-conf games, Xavier is 10-4 ATS while UCLA is 7-6. UCLA is 1-4 ATS in the last five while Xavier is 3-2.

The tease may lose, but I think the chances are less than 20% that it will.

Good luck Saint. I am done with the hoops for the year. Getting ready for Sunday and Monday start of bases season the most exciting time of the year for me.
Nice call tonight on Davidson and good luck tomorrow.

i completely agree with everything you said.... just becareful of the bounce-back "make a statement" game phenomenon that UCLA will certainly be looking to make with this game.... they know all too well the country is losing faith with them as a contender, so they certainly would like to put Xavier away in convincing fashion, whether they have the capability to do it is another story.... i personally think they do have the ability, the only question is whether they have the mental toughness to impose their will tomorrow

Because Louisville is the best team they will have faced all year.

I do agree with Xavier though.

Just saw that the most famous handicapper of all time (I guess I can't post his name) is on UNC -6. Makes me feel even better about a SU win.

Rick Pitino vs Roy Williams. There's the one reason I can think of to stay away from UNC.
