I have to go with Wisconsin in this one. The key matchup in this one will obviously be between Stephon Curry and Michael Flowers. Curry is an offensive juggernaut while Flowers prides himself on his gritty defense. I don't think that anyone is capable of shutting down Curry completely but Flowers will be the best defender Curry has faced all season. He will definitely be in his face the entire game. The big difference in this game comes down to a huge size advantage for Wisconsin in the frontcourt. They should be able to pound the ball inside with relative ease and dominate the boards. The Badgers should cover -4.5.

Davidson is one of this teams that on paper appears second best, but they are going good right now. Wisconsin reminds me of a heavyweight fighter, big,slow, with a strong knock out punch. I want to review some of the games so far before I decide. At this point under on the first half looks the most appealing. Wisconsin will want to control the tempo and Davidson may have some jitters in the early stages of this game. Its early still, plenty of time to decide.

Davidson will make a run but this Wisconsin team will be too poised. Davidson will run out of steam after coming within 3 and Wisky wins by 7.
The Badgers are relentless-thezbar comparison is very accurate-they are like a heavyweight fighter that can take some hard blows but still deliver that knockout punch.

true I've noticed that.. Plays where everyone has liked the same team haven't fared so well lately. But not all of these lose, think one of these plays winning are due.

Hate to use the word "due" but couldn't think of anything other way to describe it. I know of some sharp cats who are on Wisky..

We be interesting nonetheless.

I haven't looked that closely at the spread yet, but I can't imagine Wisconsin losing this game outright. More precisely, I can't imagine a team from an "Added Board" conference reaching the Elite Eight. That would make Davidson the biggest Cinderella of all time, as at least past Ciderellas have all been regular board teams.

Wisky: Bo Ryan who IMO is one of the most underrated coaches in CBB witnessed how Davidson beat Zaga and G'Town and will know what to do and what NOT to do so they don't suffer the same fate. Davidson should of never won that game versus G'town or Gonzaga for that matter. G'town beat themselves with 20 turnovers and dumb play late in the game. In this game Davidson's Stephen Curry will be defended by defensive specialist Michael Flowers who has been looking forward to defending Curry.

For Davidson to win they will need Curry to put up HUGE numbers, I mean c'mon Davidson was life or death to defeat Zaga it took a 40pt game from Curry to barely defeat Zaga. It took a +16 turnover margin, 22pt 2nd half performance from Curry, and some horrific Free throw shooting from G'Town to barely win that one.. Davidson has been dodging bullets and defeating teams who basically defeated themselves. Wisky's man to man defensive style is going to give Davidson fits.

Wisky is 31-4 this season and has a solid resume. They defeated Texas on the road, destroyed Georgia and Kansas State. Wisky is no slouch. Bo Ryan is no dummy he has watched the film on Davidson and will have his team ready to defeat an overachieving Davidson team who has needed two amazing performances from Curry to barely beat their last two opponets. If Curry has another smash up game against Flowers than God Bless him..

For you guys picking Davidson, what's your reasoning? Wisconsin clearly a superior team and the chances of Davidson pulling off 3 incredibly unlikely wins in a row is highly doubtful. Any reason not to pound Wisconsin tonight? I've watched them all year, they've gotten no respect from anyone and are a highly underrated team. IMO, they have the talent to beat Kansas in their bracket and I don't see Davidson getting in the way of that. Am I alone on these thoughts or what?

I'm on the over. I think it squeaks in because Davidson's D hasn't been great. if Davidson can get to 60 [big IF I know] - the over should hit.
