Maryland/Duke

Alright so I noticed a bunch of you are taking Marlyand at +6...what is your thoughts and reasoning? I know alot of obvious Maryland is just like hot or cold, they always play Duke well but wondering if I can get more info not sure if going to play the game or not wondering some more in-depth insight...

Alright I really dont get this people....

Duke' only loss ATS at an away game came vs Temple which I know is bad but I think that is just a fluke game.

Florida State and Va Tech other games they played at, and those are both tough places to play, with personal experience knowing the many FSU/Duke games I have been to.

Now Maryland did good agaisnt UNC, and I know they have had off this time, but that was a tough phsyical game. Looking at other games, they didnt cover the spread at home vs Boston College and Ohio State.

I know Duke and Maryland have that love-hate but I think Duke can still cover the -6. It would have been nice now looking at this game to get it at -5.5.

I think I am going to shop around a bit, and see what other spreads I can find, and wait till somebody responds. Please somebody convince me because if not going to play Duke -6.....

The system I have been using shows this game dead even at the -6 spread. My system does not take into account emotion. So, if you think that gives Duke an edge, then go for it. Personally I think the game is too close to call.

the terps aren't real talented right now, but they always get up for duke and have beaten them in 5 of 7. hopefully its a fun game to watch.

im going with maryland -6 in this one. that fact that they beat UNC at UNC is huge. shows me that they probably play "up" (or down) to their opponents and show up in big games. also got 8 days to prepare for this game vs dukes 3.

also hayes is slowing coming back and played for a little against UNC

dont no if terps can pull off the upset, but i think it will be a close one
