Virginia at Duke

Alright so I want to hear some thoughts about this matchup

I am leaning towards Duke because they have played some good teams, 3 ranked oppents and Illinois who is playing good tonight.

UVA did nice against Arizona and they have history of keeping this close with Duke, I am curious who thinks that Duke at home is going to blow them out or closer then most see it.

I was leaning towards Duke just with home factor, how they can put up points, but havent seen UVA play this year and looking at their stats, they can put them up as well so anything can contribute is appreciated.

If I HAD to take a team, I'd probably take Virginia +15.5 or +16

Just too many points to be getting to pass up with a decent Virginia team... Duke is solid, but they shouldnt be this big of a favorite

Yeah I liked VA but I just get a little worried with Duke at home putting up big points, and I havent seen UVA on TV yet so not sure how they play.

This is a tough game to call, but I would have to pick Duke if I were betting.

UVA has a road win against Arizona, a neutral ct loss to Seton Hall by 14 and a loss in their last game 10 days ago at Xavier by 38.

Duke was beating people up until their loss to Pitt and then they beat Cornell by 14 at home with the game being within single digits for much of it and then a 10 pt win at Temple.

I think Duke is going to get back on track with a huge win to get some momentum starting off the ACC schedule. UVA hasn't played in 10 days and going to Duke to get back into things isn't easy. Duke usually keeps the pedal down for awhile at home so I think if they play their game they could run away with this.

I am going to sit this one out, but this is what my best guess is.

I liked the points with VA, but couldnt pull the trigger. Something made me side with the home chalk. I am hoping Cameron is pumping for the ACC clash and Duke goes to the line enough throughout the game to cover. I hope they pull off the game with ease but most of my bball plays have been decided by a pt or two lately. I got duke -15. GL either way!

Well, I have bet on several games this year where Duke was a big fav with the logic "Duke can't possibly cover a 30 point spread" only to see Duke blow out the underdog by 45 points. I went with Duke.

I'm not just saying it because its a lot of points, Virginia, on paper, is pretty even, stat wise, with Duke... just think its too many points to teams that appear decently even
