MSU-Neitzel alert

For those who haven't heard:

ESPN News reports that Michigan State Spartans star guard Drew Neitzel will play but not start tonight’s game against the Michigan Wolverines.

The Spartans, who opened as a 2-point favorite on the road, are currently down to a 1-point favorite with most sportsbooks.

Neitzel has been fighting the flu this week. He's averaging 18.4 points per game for the Spartans, who are 21-8 straight up and 15-9 against the spread this year.

The Wolverines are 19-10 straight up but only 10-14-1 against the spread.

If Neitzel's even moderately affected by this, I think Michigan wins. Neitzel is the heart and soul of that MSU team and poses the biggest matchup problems.

That report on Nietzal shied me away from this game thank god, because I would have lost it.
