The Bulldogs need to win out to have a shot at the NCAA Tourney. Play Butler as home favorites this evening against the Loyola (IL) Ramblers.

Both teams have been hot, but Butler will only get an invite to the big dance if they win the Horizon League Championship.

They also trail league leader Wright State by a half-game. Wright State has a hard road game at Youngstown State, and if they lose and Butler wins tonight, and Butler beats Detroit on Saturday, the Bulldogs win first place in the conference. Big game for the Bulldogs tonight.

Butler is 23-4 with a pile of quality wins against teams in the RPI top 50. I don't think much more needs to be said except they're a lock for the tourney.

The Bracketology page by Joe Lundi has Butler as a #4 seed and Wright State (the Horizon league leader) as a #13 seed....it's a pretty safe bet Butler is getting in regardless if they win the Horizon league or not.

Sometimes I wonder if these touts even have the faintest idea of what they are talking about.

i like butler minus the 10 or wherever it's at now. but the reasoning..........obviously butler is in the tournament. They could probably lose out and still be in

Butler is obviously in the tourney. I think it's funny that these 'experts' expect us to pay for their picks.
