Dons +5½ at Gaels

Coming off a big weekend win over UC-Irvine, the San Francisco Dons as road dogs are the play this evening at the St. Mary's Gaels.

St. Mary's is 1-9 against the spread after allowing 60 or less points in their last game, and they are 10-23 against the spread at home after scoring 60 or less points in their last game.

The Gaels are 0-6 against the spread off two straight road games. San Francisco is 26-7 against the spread their last 33 February road games. The Dons are 6-3 against the spread in their last nine games at St. Mary's.

Play: San Francisco +5½

The Gales just never recovered at all after that injury to there star player way back when.

For whatever reason this is the time of year when the Dons usually become world-beaters on the road, as Mr. Freese pointed out. I just do not trust St. Mary's as chalk here, and USF is indeed one of my bets tonight.

I don't think you should worry about Surratt's status. He's been out of their last 3 games where the Dons went 2-0-1 ATS.
