Looks like he may have eaten something bad, those are usually 24 hour things.

UConn sophomore guard Jordan Hawkins did not practice Friday, the eve of the Huskies’ semifinal game against Miami, due to a non-COVID illness. Here’s what you need to know:

Hawkins started to feel poorly Thursday night with symptoms related to a stomach bug.
Team doctors immediately moved his roommate out of his hotel room to prevent the bug from spreading to other UConn players, coach Dan Hurley said during his Friday news conference.
“The fact that he missed today tells you he’s not feeling great,” Hurley said. “Hopefully we can contain it and he’s OK to go tomorrow.”

No, holding steady at -5.5
I think Hawkins illness isn't that serious, a 24 hour thing.
But I don't know much more than anyone else that's not an 'insider'.

UPDATE: Hawkins (illness) will not practice Friday, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.

ANALYSIS: Hawkins is dealing with a non-Covid illness. It does not appear that the illness will hold Hawkins out for Saturday's matchup against Miami. Hawkins is the teams second leading scorer, averaging 16.3 points per game.
