Let’s get some opinions rolling on this matchup - played on a neutral court in Frisco TX

Boise 18-8 vs SMU 11-5

My initial line prediction was Boise St -6 so when I saw it come out at -1 I am more than ready to back the Broncos*

First, I’ve watched both teams play multiple times - Boise shoots the ball better overall and has a much better flow to their offense plus they turn the ball over much less. We always need to factor in motivation, but I think this one is fairly even - Boise has a great coach in Leon Rice and he should have his guys ready to compete hard. Boise also plays in what I believe is an underrated conference “San Diego St., Utah St., Nevada, Colorado St.” are all strong teams and make you work for a W.*

SMU has played one game in the last 5 1/2 weeks (since Feb 8th) due to COVID where Boise has been in competing on a regular schedule, which lends to an advantage

My play is on the Boise Broncos -1 / I think they win this comfortably in the end by 6-8 at the line

Never did Michigan St dominate a game..... They don’t even look smooth when winning.

AYAYLA demolished Langford both games when MD thrashed Michigan St.... Tygar Campbell is much more quicker, Langford won’t keep up.... This matchup is all about Guard play..... Jaquez will light it up here, Michigan St has no perimeter defense..


If Chris Smith was playing .... the line would be -2 UCLA .... Michigan St should consider themselves lucky he is out for the season

In reviewing Kenpom.com data from 2002 until 2019 I see some compelling angles I feel worth sharing.* 18 years of data qualifies in my book****

Total # of Final Four Teams = 72 teams (18 x 4)

56 of 72 teams*(77.78%)*had top-20 AdjD ranking.*
