Good afternoon,

We will be posting our post season totals here. Some of you may know our regular season totals thread went 103-79 and we hope to keep at least that winning percentage going here. Again we'll warn everyone, with this strange season, it's going to make games even more difficult to handicap, at least for us, but well try to do our best based on solid reasons.

Monday:

First Half Team Unders:

797 St. Mary's CA 28

This is the story of two opposite playing tempos. St. Mary's is ranked #349 in tempo and Zags are #4. However, Gonzaga has the 10th best defense in the country. I feel the only possible way for St. Mary's to even attempt to stay in this game, is to slow it down. If that happens, and the Zags bring their #10 ranked defense, it stays under the total.

Both teams combined play a slower than average tempo. M F's offensive efficiency is rated below average @ #197 and Pitts defense is good rated #101. Also, M F averages only about 29 points in their first half scoring and my thinking is if they are playing a team with an above average defense, they will stay under that number and the posted total.

I was debating if we should just take our win this afternoon and call it a day, but I feel pretty good about this play.

647 Middle TN St. 25 (was 25.5 earlier)

Combined these two teams average a slow tempo. MTS ranks #332 in offensive efficiency and NT ranks #51 in defensive efficiency. In away games, MTS averages 26 first half points, but that is against some terrible defenses and hopefully will not score that many against a good defense. If North Texas brings its defense to this game, IMHO it will be close, but should stay under the total.

FF and St. Peter's both play at a slow tempo. FF's offense is ranked #296 while St Peter's defense is very good @ #58 in the country. If St. Peter's bring their defense to this game it should stay under.
