How simple is this one? Nevada comes in with one loss and ranked #15; San Jose State has but one win. Play the Wolfpack at the Spartans.

Even without the services of All-American forward Nick Fazekas (sprained ankle), the Nevada Wolfpack will cruise past San Jose State.

No offense, but San Jose State is flat-out awful. In their last 95 games, State is a dismal 14-81 SU and 36-53-3 ATS, including 29-44-2 ATS in this set coming off a straight up loss. Even worse, at home in the SJS Event Center, San Jose is a stiff 15-40 SU and 19-33-2 ATS in their last 55 games!

With Fazekas on the bench most likely resting, Nevada will turn to starting guards Kyle Shiloh (8.5 ppg), Marcelus Kemp (18.8 ppg) and Ramon Sessions (13.3 ppg) to pick up the scoring. In this series the Wolfpack have won their last eight by an average of 18 points per game. Tie that up with Nevada's 40-22 ATS mark as a guest and you have all the technical support needed to make this play. Take the Wolfpack minus the points.

    Play: Nevada -8½

I agree with this touts sentiments 100% on this game. San Jose St. is pitiful !!

The problem is that I can't lay 8.5 points in this game myself.

i came up with nevada to win from between 19 to 29 points and last night and when i saw the line at nevada -8 1/2 i thought what an absolute prime bet gift. then this mourning nevada was still at -8 1/2 and just now i get home and see that navada is still at -8 1/2. i go ok someone missed something cause that line should have started out at -13 and it hasnt even been bet a point. then i read this report. so there ya go. but even with fazekas out i got to figure that coach mark fox can and will push his players up a notch, get them to raise their intensity level, stay sharp, stay focused, muscle it up and respond with a quality effort.

well the book had this one pegged as nevada beat the spread with a 9 point win. at one point in the 1st half nevada was down by something like 11 and came back to be up by 2 at the break. pulled away by 9 with 11 minutes to go and i thought they would go up a little more but held check by 9 at the end.
