#72Have you tested this thoroughly? Otherwise how can you just say that? Unless you can provide proof of that, people should play the 7/5 system as I laid it out. You shouldn't recommend things to people if they are baseless, it could lose them money. As the person who put the 7/5 together, I do not recommend you play this way.Comment -

#73I am fine with that, I know the plays anyway, and our 7/5 definitely should be documented since we spent all that time proving it successful, NOT including the A bet labby which was earlier suggested and totally unproven. Note: the A bet labby is NOT part of any system we are posting on here, so if you follow along, do so at your own risk knowing that no backtest, whatsoever, has been performed to show A bet labbying is successful, rather, the opposite has been proven several times, and I really do not wish to get into it any further than that.Last edited by Wallco99; 10-01-12, 09:21 AM.Comment -

#77Anyone have last seasons excel file they can share? I want to test last seasons results to see how my new labby strategy would do. I know beginning of last season a single line labby would of got out of line unless you have a large bankroll especially following multiple systems. My new labby strategy should do just fine using multiple systems and having multiple plays a day. If anyone has last seasons link or file that would share I woul dlike to get my back test done right away so we are fully prepared for this season.Comment -

Then make sure that you give Hagball 2 points (which is not very much for all of the work that he has done.)Comment -

#85Wallco and CO.
Have been labbying JM for a couple of years now and have seen other people update every day, well think its my time to step up so if you guys don't mind, I'm going to be posting all 3 versions of the JM NBA plays for each day..
Question...
Would you guys mind if I put the amounts I'm betting as well or just update with the W/L records etc. for each system?Comment -

#92Hey stevex! Thanks for stepping up! I'm diggin the format, 3 methods - 3 posters!
Wallco if you can make up the schedule I'd really appreciate it. Normally I'd do it myself but I just don't know if I'll be able to complete it before the season starts. If you or anyone else can create an accurate schedule you'd have my thanks.Comment -

#93Thanks all of you. Looking forward to follow the 7/5 system...If you are going to take the time to
post the plays, then you do it any way you wish. Thanks. This should be a pretty productive and informative thread. Steve will be posting the JM plays, limit will be posting them with our implemented 7/5 method, and I will be posting Chase 110. All three will be completely seperate and very clear. Thanks again steve.Comment -

#96I am sticking with 7/5 and labbying A-bets. YES IT IS PROFITABLE TO LABBY A-BETS SEPARATELY FROM 7/5 METHOD. DO NOT BUY 3 POINTS AND PLAY IT ATS (-110). Its simple logic with bankroll management. Labby requires 34% win rate long run with a nice bankroll to be successful. With the A bets hitting around 52% the labby has enough of a winning percentage to show a profit. Again, it comes down to bankroll management.
Would run two labby lines, since there are multiple A-bets on the same day and play all B&C bets separately. It is really not hard to understand. I am not going to create a labby discussion like I have in previous seasons. Just go through the A-bets from last season and you will clearly see it is profitable. Yes 1 season is a short sample, so go ahead and go back through previous seasons as well. I am not going to spoon feed anyone. I know it is profitable and for others who have been labbying JM for a while as well, should know labbying A bets are profitable. Just do not start with more than 1-2% on your labby line. I recommend 1% total on your line for a small profit through out the season to avoid making bigger unit size bets.
That is as far as I am going to discuss it. The results will speak for themselves.
Also STEVE are you sure you will be posting the plays? I remember in On3's thread you said you were going to post them, then I and a couple others ended up doing it cause you were busy with work or whatever.
Quick Edit to my post*
Just went through last season and all though its a short season, based on the excel sheet in post #61 of this thread running a 2 line labby would of netted 18 units with starting lines of .25% - .25% - .25% - .25% or 1% per line.
Once and final it all comes down to bankroll management when you are labbying.
Wallco and followers please quit hating on the labby unless you can prove it is not profitable. We discussed it last season and do not want to get into a big discussion about it this season. It is profitable enough said!Last edited by J.M. Disciple; 10-09-12, 06:01 PM.Comment -

#99The labby was mentioned by the Limit when he quoted my post. When you say the labby was not mentioned, but the topic is based on labbying A bets then that is foolish of you. I am not going to get in a child's fight with your old and repetitive comments about how i busted my bankroll years ago! Please get new information.
I understand about posting new systems, but this was discussed last season as an implemented strategy to gaining a few extra units. Labbying A bets are successful and it has been proven every season. I welcome you to go back and test it yourself! I have my own tests. Last season was 18 units. And even with a rough start to the season on the A-bets the labby still prevailed with a 2 line labby quite easily. Never reached more then 7 #s long, so that in itself with a rough patch at the beginning of the season is enough for me to follow.
You go ahead and keep creating your chase systems, which has infact busted peoples bankrolls with your v2 and v1 test for MLB. "oh your bankroll should not be busted because it made over 600 units in the past 5 years." Doesn't matter what it made in the past, it matters when you start posting your systems and people start following.
I am done with this discussion.

#101Let's just all sign the JM Peace Treaty and focus on the upcoming season. I'm writing out the NBA schedule, but I wouldn't mind comparing it to another person's to double check the accuracy. Also, can someone give me a brief explanation or link to the different versions V1, V2, V3. OR
Check if I'm doing this correctly
(Away game series starts after a home game, and have at least 3 consecutive away)
V1 -- Away games vs All out of conference teams; 3 of 3 teams are opposite conference
V2 -- Away games vs at least 2 of 3 out of conference teams (WNBA style)
V3 -- All other set of away games, i.e. 1 out of 3 opposite conference, or 0 of 3 opposite conference games
If this is correct, I should have the schedule ready by tonight. Thanks, BOLComment -

#102OK WALLCO your always right you win. If you want to spend the time to go out of your way on how i lost 50% of my roll thats fine. you win. I am not going to waste my time finding post of yours on how you risk 80+ units to win 1 on a single series. Your systems are fantastic!!! Your a genius! Whatever you want to hear is fine by me.
On with the JM system as Sandwhich said and just leave this stuff behind us. We can go back and forth and point out all of our flaws and nit pick at each other all day if you like, but its very childish, so this will be my official last post on the matter. If you want to respond that is up to you, but I will not continue to act like a child.
Good Luck
Thanks SandwhichComment -
