No. That is why he is a solid Sixth Man. He could probably be elite with the Bobcats though.

Elite? No. He's more of a top 25-30 kind of guy.

6th man of the year means nothing to you? He would be starting on most other NBA teams.

Definitely a good player when having a good night... Seems too temperamental on bad nights and when things are going wrong they go really bad with him. Not going to be an all time great but will always be a solid threat. With Kevin Love and Tyson Chandler on the Olympic team this year I guess you can say his spot is justified.

My man, Harden is no where near Kevin Love. Kevin Love is a star.

Elite player = Someone you would build your team around... Harden doesn't fit into that category....

Until the finals, I thought Harden could be a number 1 option on a lot of teams. But after seeing him struggle in the finals, I think he is a really strong #2 option for most NBA teams. Harden is a great all around player who can make his teammates better, but he really struggles outside of the pick and roll. We saw Miami shut down OKC's pick and roll, which is why Harden struggled. He is one of the best pick and roll players in the NBA because he will either make a play for himself, or one of his teammates.

its premature to say whether hes one or the other
this is the first time harden and OKC has faced an elite defense for a 7 game series, and it was the finals
so he has plenty of time to improve

we all saw rose, lebron, durant, dirk etc etc improve their playoff performances as they got older
so its hard to determine what his finals product will be right now
