Wise Decision... or Simply Giving Money Away?
Before the series started I'd put 300 on the Thunda +170. After game-1 I put 300 on the Thunda +255. After game-2 I put 300 on the Thunda +450. Just checked the series price for the Spurs and saw that they were +290. Decided to back up my Thuda series plays by putting 300 on the Spurs +290 to almost cover my losses should the Thunda suffer a meltdown.

    Smart or not?

Thanks for the input dude. I'll gamble on damn near anything... but I've never been greedy when I had a chance to hedge.

          If Thunder win series you win 2625 - 300 hedge = +2325.

If Thunder blow it your hedge makes it so you are only down 30 instead of 900.

So you if you don't hedge, you are going to end up either +2625 or -900. If you do, you are going to end up either +2325 or -30. Pretty easy decision. You're in a good spot, get ya popcorn ready.

Probably some more info to consider before decision.

What is your average bet size? Did you add the extra $450 contemplating a hedge because thought OKC win at home? Will letting it ride and losing put you on tilt? What do you think series price should be currently?

On serires plays... my standard bet size is 300... no more/no less. I added the 450 play not because the Thunda were going home... but because I still thought they would win the series... and took advantage of the increase in potential positive money payout. (Remember... they had the Spurs by the throat until they only scored 3-points over a 5:54 span in the second half of game-1.) Not sure qabout your betting philosophy... but adding the 3rd series play down 0-2 isn't what I consider a hedge... I consider a hedge to be a stop-loss play.

I feel they have the current series price nailed...

Greed may be good in the market... but it spells death to gambling bankrolls.
