C's are done. If it weren't for the poor FT shooting of Phili, they would be down 15+ points.

Celtics probably still win this series but it'll be the last game won for whoever goes through at any rate.

The Books wrote the Celtics off pretty early.

Yes I think it will be Miami vs Boston and likely a sweep. Ok maybe 4-1 if the Celtics have one of their freak over 50% shooting nights.

do sports fans just have the most short-term memories in the world? heat put together 2 good performances in a row and people start predicting they sweep boston

it's so hard to remember back to a week ago, huh... or any of the million times through the past 2 regular seasons where the heat started playing at a high level and everyone declared they had put it all together and were unbeatable. jesus, do you guys ever learn? yes, the heat should win the next series and there's a good chance they will, but they are never going to be a team that plays to their capabilities every game

You have a point. It really is hard to remember back to a week ago with the kind of week I've been having. So I'm just going to try and remember the last 5 days right now if you don't mind: 25-5 (24-4 in NBA, 17-3 live); starting BR $3100, current BR $8500. How about a little farther back? Last deposit March 31st, BR $0 deposit $200. First ever bet? Giants to win the Super Bowl last february. But I guess I'm just really lucky and will never learn eh.

(but yeah I have to say you're probably right about the Heat slacking off in a game or perhaps two )

Yep he made a good point, I acknowledged it in the parentheses. But he didn't have to get all sarcastic about it that's all. I know this boasting is probably a bad move but I couldn't help it. And crash 'n burn? Meh we'll see. I'm not the one thinking about going big on OKC against the Spurs my friend.

I agree Blanco, anyone who watches consistently knows that Miami is not that special and will likely lose to whichever team comes out of the West. The problem however is that their matchup in the Eastern Conference Finals is going to be a completely mediocre team. Philadelphia is a showing a ton of heart, but they match up horribly with Miami. Boston, when healthy, can be a tremendous team. Unfortunately Pierce is playing on a sprained MCL, Allen's ankles are hurting, and Bradley isn't even playing. If these health problems continue to plague Boston, they will have no chance. In either scenario, if Miami gets by Indiana they have a very matchup to get back to the NBA Finals.
