I can't imagine anything less than a DD win for the Celtics here...this is do-or-die for them. Hawks have been solid at home and C's know they are in shit if they lose tonight.

We should see a solid effort from this team tonight and they will take care of business and cover the spread.

Hawks definitely have the team to keep up w/ the Celts and stay w/in 7 points. I could see the Hawks staying close for most the game, and then the Celts pull away in the 4th quarter. Boston continues to run their same offense late in the game, whereas Larry Drew and the Hawks go to one-on-one basketball during late stretches of games.

Larry Drew is one of my least favorite coaches.

In this situation -6 going to -7 in a Celtics home game to take the series isn't enough of a jump for me to think they will win by 15 or 20. Considering Game 3 the line was -8 and the Hawks covered losing by 7 and the O/U was 173 and was covered and then Game 4 the O/U was 172 and was covered, the Celts have scored over 90 in both home games and the Hawks lost by 22 and still covered the Over at 172 leaning to the Celts home play averaging 95.5 pts this postseason. It may be a small sample size, but basically, the series has gone Over when Celts are favored and Under when Hawks are favored, therefore I see the Over here.

I think youre overanalyzing it. The line could have went to 10 and the Celts could still win by 2. Dont see how that has anything to do with the result and it shouldnt. The total is always low when these two teams play one another and even lower because its the playoffs, the game is typically slower in the playoffs, possessions are more valuable.
