It's interesting to me too 'cause the 2-3 times recently I've bet the 2H on the team that had a bad first half, they turned around and had an even sh*ttier 2nd half. Doesn't apply to Denver, apparently.

Opposite for me. Just like Hornets tonight who were down by 4 at half and I bet the +1 1/2 and they won SU.

How did the line say it all? Did you really expect it to be Denver -5 2H? Denver -3.5 was being juiced up at my book, if anything, the line indicated Denver was the play.

Was gonna take Denver 2nd half, as soon as I logged in game taken off board, 2nd half had started, people Denver was a gift win or lose, you have a home team not down by a lot and 2nd half spread where they could lose the game and cover, look for these in all sports especially since its not like Houston is really better than them, coupled with the Denver thin air.

Meh, still up for the night even though Rockets put what could of been a very nice night to just an ok night. Didnt really understand the ppl acting like Rockets 2H was a lock. I was just hoping they maintained their pace as they only had to win by 3 to cover and I had them on a bet to win ML. Rockets are my home team so some bias went into my decision obv, but never felt this was an open and shut like some of the posters in this thread before the 2H started.

The fact that the line is HOU -5.5 is pretty telling IMO. Vegas will give you Denver as a 5.5 point underdog right after they beat the Rockets by 15? Not falling for it. I'll most likely be on HOU tomorrow.

And does anyone have any info on how teams do in these situations where two teams play a "home and away" series in the regular season. I've seen it a lot with the scheduling this year, ATL and TOR are doing it all over again tomorrow in Toronto.

Well Rockets are known as a good home team is the only reason I could see this plus they should play extra hard after losing. Add to that they will be going over where they were weak at tonight. Be that as it may, Ive seen it go both ways this season where the home team lost b2b first against them away then the next day to them at home under same spread circumstances.
