It's all square Time-Magazine big-favorites (never anything less popular than -150 as a straight...and the parlays have nothing less than -300, sometimes -700 up to -1000...he strings a pile of these "locks" together, then bitches like a girl about "fixes" when something goes against script). To top it all off, this guy's so sharp his one book is....Bovada.

This "contributor" can't take a loss like a man...if he picked it, and it doesn't win...it must be a fix...if someone else picked it, he's gotta call the play stupid (AFTER the game--like he just did here--of course), even if it was a value pick, such as you and I would recognize in playing Philly tonight, especially on the ML (I got them at +221 on Friday...and Philly had a MUCH better probability of winning than the 31.15% implied by the price.)

SBR is infected by too many twats like this, thinking everything revolves around W% and winning tonight...never understanding how a sharp pick that you should take everytime (such as 76ers+211 tonight) is a good pick whether it wins tonight or not...and how you should train yourself to take picks because of the value, EVEN IF you don't expect it to win tonight. And they don't understand, as you pointed out, that the very fact that if "everyone knows" a particular team will win and if "everyone's on them" it is a bad thing long-term...even if that popular play wins tonight...cuz all the value was sucked out of the play before the game even began.
