Indiana just beat my Charlotte Bobcats 3 days ago by 35 and the line opened at -6 and was immediately bought down. Something is going on here and I think the Bobcats are the play.

Indiana didn't do it easy today against the Hornets and I suspect that has something to do with the line. If anything, Indiana needing to go to OT to beat the Hornets should make them less likely to underestimate lowly opponents. Don't let the books trap you. We're still talking about the Bobcats. There's about 5 teams the Bobcats could beat, and I don't think the Pacers are one of them. Stranger things have happened though.

Charlotte is a real shitty team right now.

EDIT: Just saw the line for this game. from -6 to -5.5.
What am i missing? Or is this line about right for a shitty team.

                    Yeah, line down to -5.5

Something smells fishy. The under seems to be the better play but it also seems to easy???

I may go with Indy in the 1st half.

Sorry, but I don't see Indy losing. Not with the situation in the East. If it was Philly, I'll understand, but Indiana is a consistent team and if they are to fight for home court, they need to win against teams like the Bobcats. -5,5 is the play for me!

And just for the record 5 Dimes had this at -5.5 from the beginning because I placed my bet on it last night. I probably should have waited, but it hasn't moved yet at 5Dimes.

EDIT: But I'm a newbie and I could be completely wrong. It could have been at 6...?

I really want to take the Pacers and I don't care about the line movement. Still, heavy minutes last night for the starters and third game in four nights.

The Pacers bigs have gone like 40-55fgs in the two games against the cats. The question is, do they have the legs to take advantage again tonight? Im not so sure.

but please do not bet the Bobcats. they are dreadful anyway.

Taking the Pacers... -5.5 is way too good to pass up on.

Pacers nearly covered the spread in OT alone last night. (A weird paradox given that they needed to not cover the spread in regulation to end up winning by 9).

My point is, the Pacers turned it on when they needed to. They were caught napping and didn't wake up until OT. I would expect that they might get up a little earlier in this one.

I remember how many "sharps" jumped on the Pacers a few weeks ago at +2 against the Heat because the line looked fishy. Looked what happened there.

The moral is, do your research and play your instincts. The books are very good at getting inside your head by dropping fishy lines.
