Chris Bosch will not play tonight. This doesnt make a difference to me if you like Mia since they have 3 all stars. Missing 1 all star IMO makes them play harder if not better. However even if he was playing i cannot bet MIA. MIA is gettin 92% of all ATS bets today but the line has dropped from 4.5 to 4. I doubt it dropped because of Bosch but it did drop with that much action poured on MIA. HMMM?!

Hey John,

I'm a newly minted John Ryan fan... Loved your S Florida play even though I was too chicken to bet against L'ville on Senior Night.

I happen to be on MIA tonight... jumped on the too good to be true bandwagon at 4.5, bought it to 4 and then heard about Bosh. I agree that the line move is fishy given the large majority of the public being on Miami, but IMO you can't understate the importance of an unexpected absent all-star and how that might affect a line move and what side money starts flying down on.

So long story short, this thread has comforted my second guessing of staying on the Heat even though Bosh is out... I wonder when Vegas found out about Bosh being out...

The * means units. 5* = 5% of your bankroll. Friendly warning, in his NFL thread there was in-accurate record keeping. I don't know if theres any in this thread, basically my advice would be tail at your own risk (not because of the record).

5* LA Clippers -2 1/2 -110
5* 'OVER" Houston/Denver 204 -110
5* Philadelphia 76ers - 7 1/2 -110

I believe the record is updated above.. I like having a fellow poster double check my results as it is neccessary to avoid any errors in the results. All sports have enjoyed winning records to date. Struggling in the 5* College Hoops ranks, but we are now in March and madness is something that agrees with me. kidding of coufse, but I do beleive this is one of the best, if not the best, month of the year, MLB will be right around the corner too.

I will be starting a MLB thread and this has been traditional the best sport to make profits over the course of a season.

While I am talking about MLB, how do you all feel about the 10-team playoff system. I can't figure out why you ouwld have a one-game play-in for the two teams who labored 162 games to earn a playoff spot and then have it all hinge on one game. However, the season ends regarding those two teams pitching rotations will provide a hige adanatge if both Aces cannot start for that game. not sure if it is fair or not. In fact, I am going to open up a 2012 MLB with John Ryan right now. so come on over adn let's see how everyone feels/thinks about this decision.

Lakers are looking good right now, was working earlier otherwise I would have jumped on the over Denver@Houston....I've seen many games where Denver plays terrible Defense and good Offense for the Over. Cant wait for the Heat@Lakers Sunday. I'm a Heat fan and ready to go big after them losing to Utah to bounce back big. I actually play NHL too.. I just didn't know there was any significant interest from other posters. Perhaps we should start a new thread for the NHL. I will be running the model for the Lakers game and I have a gut feeling at this time that the Lakers just might come up as a play. There may not be words said in the locker room, but trust is becoming an issue. teams simply double team leBron at the end of games forcing other players to make the game winning shot and of course the media unjustly bashes Lebron for not wanting to take the last shot. Hard for even him to take the last shot with two or three NBA bodies in his face.
