I always found him annoying on the halftime shows and what not, but he seems like a great father after watching that segment!

Bob Ryan recently said that if he were starting an NBA team, and could take any player from the past or present in their prime, he would've taken Bill Walton.

Some legitimacy to that comment. Hard to IMAGINE a better COLLEGE player. Think about all the ways he impacted a game:
* Huge wingspan in center of defense, to alter shots and entry passes.
* Awesome rebounder
* One-of-a-kind on the outlet pass to kick the fast break
* Efficient offensive scorer, if not quite brilliant
* Quick and lean (b4 all the ankle problems)
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Because Walton's teeth are as awful as Ryan's.

He was before my time, but he was certainly a Bruins legend. Too bad he had feet problems, we never really got to see his true potential in the NBA.
