Is it bizarre to really like the Thunder at +5.5 for Game 2?
Just trying to decide if I'm a certifiable masochist or not if I take the plunge on this bet.

Haha I was thinking close to the same thing earlier tonight, I was falling in love with the thunder at +5.5...so I quickly started putting all my time into researching for baseball tomorrow, I'm going to try to trick myself into thinking that there isn't an nba game in hopes that I can avoid making that same bet. If I'm successful in passing you should definitely take the thunder, if I get my bet in on them you should run as fast as you can.

Tough to pull the trigger on them. This is one of the few games I feel like in the playoffs that should just be a straight pass..

Does it matter? You only bet $20 a game

Giving away 120 points means OKC will probably adjust their defense. Whether they win or lose I think they'd rather have a good defensive game before they go to oklahoma.

Just stick with the totals.
This side business is giving me a headache. No thanks to the sharp lines by Vegas.

not in the least.
in Game one Dirk was almost perfect, Berrea was out of his mind and westbrook put up a stinker and the game was only a 5 point game with 3 and half mins left. No reason the Thunder can't keep it close.

I'm gonna take the Thunder here. I think the Mavs did well with all that rest. Let's see how well they do this time.
By the way, if Dallas wins this one, OKC is probably done.

If you don't like the spread @ +5.5 wait until the game is live and see if you can get a couple more if the mavs get a good start.

Logic points to thunder cover. Logic has not been helping me win bets. I am afraid.

I'm buying three points to get OKC +8.5 - should I be afraid? As long as the German doesnt have another game like game 1, I should be alright

I think I actually want OKC to lose because if they go down 2-0 then a 2 game chase on them when they're home would seem very profitable IMO.

Not a big baskets guy but when NHL winds down I'm forced to take a bit. It seems that Westbrook and Durant are having difficulty co-existing and both being the stars-if that's possible. If I had to I would point to that being a reason OKC failed game one and would be a reason to take DAL -5.5 game two. Cheers

Dirk was 24/24 at the line and shot like 90%.
Westbrook played horrible and the thunder missed a few free throws down the stretch.
Despite that, it still took a Jason Terry 3 with 24 seconds left for the Mavs to cover.

Going with the OKC Thuder. Westbrook passed enough last game, just no one, not named Durant, could hit the shot (even though they had more assists, Dirk the reason here). Perk will obliviously have to back up his comment about not liking Chandler and beat him up. Maybe OKC needs to play the half court game this series a la Grizz series. Take the fouls and make the damn FREE throws!! And the younger team out rebounded the Mavs on both ends of the court which is a good start

Just looking at the western conference only it's bout 61% in favor of the over avg about 198pts. When you expand to the east it balances out more with 51% on the under.

If dallas wins again for a 2-0, wouldn't that smell weakness in okc and you want to chase okc at home?
I rather for okc to win tonight for the series to be tie and then the chase is better for now both teams are capable of winning 1 out of 2 home games in okc.
Same thing with 1-1 going to miami now. The chase there is good if you have Chicago for series and chasing maimi at home for their next 2 games. If you lose chase on miami, the series will be 3-1 chicago and your series bet on chi is still good.
