Ok, The Mavs should beat the Hornets so this means that if the Grizz beat the Clips they can move to #7 seed.

Do you think they would prefer play the Spurs or Fakers ?

i don't think it makes a difference they will lose to either. Might as well go into the playoffs with a win.

At this point I'd rather play the Lakers. For one, Bynum could miss the series, nobody knows the severity of his injury. Two, the Lakers have absolutely no momentum. But as bad as LA has been, I think the Grizz match up better with the Spurs. Marc Gasol and Z-Bo could give the Spurs frontcourt a lot of problems. The Grizzlies are strong upfront, but their frontcourt would totally be neutralized by LA's size. So, I think they'd rather play SA.

I would not want to face the Grizz, they are a good team.

Cool...Reason I ask is Im trying to get a handle on how driven they will be to win tmoro night against the Clips. Tonight I watched and they definitely pulled the plug early (They were down 8 @ Portland and pulled 3 of their starters with still 4mins to play) so was no urgency. Im thinking their already eyeing up and preparing for Spurs. It will be interesting to see what the line will be tmoro when they face the Clips

Tough to say, but if you bet Clippers, grab the line early. They could pull starters again which could drive the line down. My guess is the Clipps may be a good bet.

I'm going to parlay Kings ML and Clipps ML tomorrow. And grab the ML early before the Lakers or Grizz decide they want to sit their starters.

If you are sure that No will lose SU to dallas then no matter if memphis win or lose, they will play whoever at #2 seed.

The only chance that No will be a higher seat against memphis is if NO win dallas at dallas and memphis losing to clippers. NO #7, memphis #8

IF Memphis lose and NO lose, No #8, memphis #7
If memphis win and No win, No #8, memphis #7

2-2 series is a tie no?

if tie series, they go with conference record. if that tie, they go with division.

Hope that helps.. We all here to learn and I just learned all that yesterday when someone else schooled me.

I think it goes in this order actually:

                            1. Overall record (duh)
                            2. Head to head season match up
                            3. Divisonal record (not conference record)

So are we saying this is what it should be guys ?
IF Memphis lose and NO lose, No #7, memphis #8

So in summary, a Memphis loss guarantees that they play the Spurs ?

it's division record only if they're in the same division, if not it goes to conference record.

new orleans will lose tonight to the mavs. Mavs are at home playing their last regular season game, and they want that #2 seed. So it's all up to memphis. Memphis will lose tonight, becuase if they wanted that #7 seed they wouldn't have rested Randolph against Portland last night. Memphis wants SA.
