Last Night was My Night

Guys last night I decided on 3 big parlays to see if I could hit a Homerun. Well I did. Not only did I hit a 5 pick parlay betting $10 to win $200, I hit a 7 pick ML parlay for $10 and won $650. Im a college student with not a ton of cash flow but enough to have some money to play around and last night I finally hit a big one.

IF you are a college student, then dont gamble with that money. You will only lose it. Not b/c its you, but its the game.

You won big, now go spend that money on something that you can point to a year from now, and say I bought that with my big win.

Trust me. If you gamble it again, then It will be lost. So you will have nothing to show for your hard work.

I agree with houlihansTX, if you keep playing the game in the end it will catch up with you and you will lose everything and some more trying to chase it back.

I have one more semester, and get scholarships. So I would blow that money on some clothes.

If you need the money for school, then buy next semesters books. Also if you want to buy cheap books, get them off amazon, and ebay. Get the international version of your book for cheap.

Yeah man don't gamble it, I have hit three huge 150/1 payouts(2k wins), and have gambled away 2 of of those three, although I will say the one that I did spend has me in some fresh gear, a trip over seas, and some debt paid away.

Whatever you do, don't gamble that, I did on my most recent win thinking if I can hit 6 games, I can hit a teaser on two. One time I hit the worst beat in gaming history(i had a thread way back), and the others I just kept chasing throwing in more each time to "just get back to even" for some reason whenever I hit a parlay or I snowball a few wins to a big bank I got ice cold. Like 1-5 cold or 2-4 cold.

Man if you enjoy gambling and are playing within your means than have fun. Obviously you shouldn't take those $800 and let it ride, but $5 here $10 there, you'll be fine.

Ive been where you are...and definitely the best way is to cash out most of it and also leave some so u dont get tempted to deposit again right away.

Dont spend that money on food/gas....instead its better to buy something you NORMALLY wouldnt be purchasing, it gives u a better feeling.

My first job was working at pizza hut as a delivery driver. I had a newly hired co-worker and he said that as soon as he gets his first pay check (in 2 weeks) he is going to quit and start his mary jane business.

I remembered that kid till today.

So yeah, cash out and you might want to invest that money somewhere else like mutual funds or something. The rule of thumb is once you cash out, don't cash back in.

As others said go and buy something big, I won a big parlay last year and went out and bought myself a 52'' LCD and at least I have that now to keep, so I would say to you, go buy a big tv or go to Vegas ...
