Liking this play. Mavs lost to Grizzlies last night at home on a last-second shot by Zebo, after being up by 17 at the half (gave up 41 points in the 3rd quarter). Mavs know they have a history of giving up big leads, and they are unreliable at home - happy I stayed away.
Like the Mavs to bounce back tonight @ the TWolves. Mavs have been money on the road so far this season - and I think yesterday was their "let-down" game that cracked the 8-game winning streak.
I expect them to come out re-focused, and not take the Wolves lightly (who are better at home than on the road, but still weak).
Also, Mavs have owned the TWolves past few years, especially on the road - quote:
Dallas (45-17) has won 16 of 17 in the series since Jan. 7, 2006, and the games have been especially lopsided at the Target Center. The Mavericks have won eight straight in Minneapolis by an average of 17.1 points, while their home wins have come by 6.4 points per game.
Dallas beat the Timberwolves 100-86 at American Airlines Center on Dec. 1 despite shooting just 41.4 percent. Love had 12 points and 15 boards in the loss.
Interesting side-story - Love will tie Moses Malone's record for double-doubles at 51 with another one tonight.
