    Friday, March 4: PHX -2.5 (+100) @ MIL
The early lines on Friday's card are very sharp, with one exception. PHX is not getting nearly enough respect here against the Bucks. Milwaukee just doesn't have the size to defend against Gortat/Lopez in the paint, especially with Bogut out. Mbah a Moute is a solid defender and I expect him to play well, but it just won't be enough. With the Bucks having to defend the aggressive inside game, Nash & Brooks will have the opportunity to spread the Bucks defensively and create a ton of open looks for the Suns perimeter shooters. I just see this game as a total mismatch.

The Suns are determined to make the playoffs, and it would appear the opportunity will be there for them in the west with Utah and New Orleans both faltering down the stretch. The Suns were in the exact same position in the second half last season, and they made a great run by incorporating defensive intensity to their game. The Bucks have no chance against a Suns team that decides to play defense.

    Suns -2.5 (+100) x5

You missed the most important part of this game. The Suns bench vs the Bucks bench. This was the bench that played in the Bucks last game, Earl Barron, (signed to 10 day contract) Earl Boynkins, Keyon Dooling, and Corey Magette. Suns got Gortat, Dudley, Aaron Brooks, Pietrus, Warrick.

I like. Brooks was what, 6-6 or 7-7 from the field last game? MIL doesn't score enough points to keep this one close. PHX pulls away in the 3rd.

Key point, and you're absolutely correct. This game won't be close.

Atlanta, Phoenix and Orlando are all playing great right now. They know they have to push their game to a different level in these late stages nearing the playoff.

Vince Carter and Channing Frye are both questionable for the Suns.

That could be a big reason...

No. They will both play in this game. Their injuries are minor and as stated above, the Suns are determined to push hard from now until the end of the season. The Suns will come to play tonight.

Suns are the best team but I don't see enough edge to lay 10 units on it. At best a medium-sized play. Playing the 5th game in 8 days on the road after their winning streak was broke.

Now playing on Bradley Center, which is a tough building especially on a Friday night.

I agree, I think an under is safer here. With no Bogut I expect the Suns to use their bigs a bit. It also depends on Jennings mobility, if he cant keep up with Steve Nash I expect to see a lot of play outside the arc with dishes to the big men. Neither of these teams runs a whole lot either.

The first time these two teams met Phoenix won, 92-77, on Feb. 2 in Phoenix for a combined 169 points. While I don't expect that low of a score again, this game should also fall safely under the total.

The Suns are playing in their fifth of six straight road games. Vince Carter and Channing Frye are not 100 percent. Frye, a streak shooter, has a bruised eye.

The Bucks have the third-best defense in the NBA surrendering just 91.4 points per game. Milwaukee also ranks fifth in 3-point defense and is seventh in defensive field goal percentage.

The Bucks also are the lowest scoring team in the league averaging 91.4 points a game and rank last in shooting percentage. So it's not a shock the under has cashed in 21 of Milwaukee's last 28 home games.

Andrew Bogut is out for the Bucks. He's the Bucks' lone inside scoring threat. Bucks coach Scott Skiles is replacing Bogut with second-year Jon Brockman and rookie Larry Sanders, a shot-blocking defensive specialist. They are going to play major minutes in Bogut's absence.

Forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is expected to play after missing the Bucks' last game because of the flu. He's another strong defensive player with a limited offensive game.

This is nearly a must-win for Milwaukee, which ranks 10th in the Eastern Conference trailing eighth-place Indiana by three games in the loss column. Skiles knows the Bucks won't be able to run with Phoenix so expect a physical, slow-paced game from the Bucks

Vince Carter won't play on Friday -- he is still dizzy after a collision with Channing Frye on Wednesday.

Some Suns fans might be relieved to have a break from VC's stylings, and this opens the door for guys like Mickael Pietrus and Aaron Brooks. You never know, we may even have a Josh Childress sighting.

Yeah I'd much rather see Brooks play than Carter, he was amazing vs Boston.

Really liking Suns (-2.5) and possibly the UNDER also. I see the Sixers blowing out T-Wolves today too.
