What is up with the Orlando Chicago line. Weeks ago, Orlando whipped Chicago by 30 pts and today Orlando is only a 1 pt favorite. Am I missing something here.... should Chicago be the bet ?

Lines aren't determined like that. It's like when Golden State was the #8 seed and they beat Dallas when they were the #1 seed, the lines hardly changed even after Golden State dominated games 1, 3, and 4. The lines didn't vary much even though it was obvious to most people that Golden was dominating the series. If the refs didn't hand the game and the cover to Dallas in game 2 I think it would have been a Golden State sweep but the lines stayed the virtually the same throughout the series.
That's how the betting world works for some reason, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. It would take an expert like jjgold or LT Profits to explain it I think.
BTW, the shocker to me is seeing Orlando favored for this game because they were 2 point dogs in the other game you mentioned. I think it shows that Rose's ulcers are very serious indeed.

The game is in chicago. Chicago is better at home.. (21-4) while orlando is mediocre on the road (13-10).

Reverse trap IMO. Books letting you take Chicago for a questionable line but the play really is Orlando. Detroit's win in Orlando was only a fluke so forget about that. Magic whipping Chicago way back also forget about that. That was a different Orlando team. The Magic takes this one seriously on the road. They already crushed Indiana last Wednesday. Eastern playoff spots are heating up. Magic is only a point and a half behind Miami and Chicago for the no.2 spot in the East. Orlando won't take this one lightly believe me. SVG already have a great battle plan against the ailing Bulls tonight.

I think orlando is the play but I think the better play may be the under as I see this as a defensive battle

Chicago will be rusty. I could clearly see Orlando by more than 8 on this one.

I agree the line is completely wrong. Orlando should be -1.5 and not -1

Chicago is 6-1 in last 2 weeks. Lost to Charlotte 83-82 in second game of back to back with first game on road, second game at home. Home losses: 11/4 vs knicks 120-112, 12/1 vs Magic 107-78, 12/18 vs clippers 100-99, 1/18 vs charlotte 83-82.

With Orlando coming into town, I just don't see Chicago 4 in a row at home. They are due for a loss on this one.

Rose has stomach ulcers. He is uncertain. Supposedly that D Rose is participating in shoot around though.

Sbrlines shows Greek opened Pacers -3 at Bulls tomorrow. Hmmm either an error or that should tell you the state of the injuries.

take the under, Chicago 4th best 3 point shooting percentage allowed and with Boozer on Dwight. This game could turn ugly

I don't think this line is fishy at all. I'm surprised Chicago isn't favored in this game. These teams are very similar. Throw out the last meeting. That was early in the season and Chicago just came off a 7 game road trip. They are playing much better now and will be out for revenge. If it is a trap, I'm not falling for it. I like Chicago in this game.

This line is not fishy AT ALL. Orlando is favored by 1 on the road. That is equivalent to Magic being favored by 7 at home vs Chicago.

I think the lines are about correct but I think the bet would have be the under on the totals
