fading the public is not always very profitable i tracked this last year using the twominutewarning bet tracker and the sweet spot for nba was when 40-49% of the public were on a team ats record was 88-62 when 80% of public was on a team these plays won about 50% of the time it was only a majority of 1 season i tracked so rsults could be different this year but for last year fading the public when 40-49% of bets on a team spread was money this was my record fading the public last year nba ats215-175-2

Completely disagree. Krazey is right. It ends up about 50%. I have been tracking it this year and it is actually under 50%. Went on a run last week of something like 16-1 when over 80% of public was on a team.

I think this strategy is a lot like using the rlm strategy in terms of you have to know what you are doing and pick and choose your spots. You can't just blindy and randomly use these strategies or use them for every game.

Hmmmm not sure what Nuggets/Clippers game you were watching but the Clippers were pretty much in control all game against the spread.

i agree with the majority here that you have to pick a spot where you think the line is off because of public backing - usually teams like the bulls/lakers are overbet that's why i posted it this morning, otherwise it's quite rare that the 3 biggest square plays would all lose
